2. Grammar - Sentence Errors

a. Download the following Avoiding Sentence Errors #1.

b. Rename it to our assignment standards.
c. Complete the assignment per the instructions.

3. Reading Of Mice and Men 

a. Read as a class today... Of Mice and Men pgs. 99-107.
b. Open your reading log and do your final entry which is today's reading entry. Remember to do a summary and response.
c. Discussion Questions: Write a response to the following questions in your reading log today.
          Slim's final words to George were, "You hadda, George. I 
          swear you hadda. Come on with me." What does he mean 
          by this comment? Do you agree with Slim?
d. Submit your reading Log for BIG credit to the following submission form:

e. Book Discussion... what do you think?

4. Vocabulary

a. Share some of the sentences the students have written.
b. Write sentences for words 61-70. You should have sentences for 1-70 by next class.

g. Study the vocabulary words... take the remaining time in class to study the vocabulary words.

5. Homework/Assignments

a. Complete a reading log entry for Of Mice and Men submit the complete Book Log to the submission form above.
b. Write sentences for words 61-70. You should now have sentences for 1-70.
c. Make sure you are reading your Home Reading Book daily until finished. Test it off as soon as you finish.
d. Continue to study vocabulary and grammar for a bell quiz next class.
