a. Format your essay according to instructions given in class and as shown on the following formatting guide below:

a. Complete the peer review work for today according the the guidelines and instructions given on the document below:




3. Homework

a. Read your book for December. If you finish it, you can check it off early so you don't forget key characters and events.
b. Study your vocabulary and grammar daily.
c. FINAL DRAFT OF INFORMATIVE ESSAY. This will be due next class!

2. Write, write, write!

a. It is time to write the first draft... Intro.
b. Review MLA In-Text Citation Rules
c. Write! Open up a google document through the Noodle Tools application (this is linked just below the works cited and note cards sections) and begin writing the first draft of your essay.



3. Homework

a. Read your book for December. If you finish it, you can check it off early so you don't forget key characters and events.
b. Study your vocabulary and grammar daily.
c. Write the first draft. This will be due next class!
d. Note Cards, Works Cited, and Outline all due on Noodle Tools TODAY!

Today's Tasks

1. Review Assignment Guidelines

a. Review the assignment guidelines linked below again to gain an understanding about what is expected in each paragraph.

2. Finish Research

a. Finish Research
     i. Complete at least five Works Cited items on Noodle Tools
     ii. Complete at least five Note Cards on Noodle tools. Each 
               card should have quoted or paraphrased material ready to 
               be used in your essay.


3. Create Outline

a. On Noodle Tools under the Note Cards section, complete the Outline of your essay. This should be a plan for how you are going to organize your essay into the intro paragraph, body paragraphs, and conclusion paragraph.



4. Write the Essay

a. When you complete all the tasks above, open up a google document through the Noodle Tools application (this is linked just below the works cited and note cards sections) and begin writing the first draft of your essay.

2. Create New Task in Noodle Tools

a. Create Outline Task Assignment
     i. Why an outline?
     ii. Organize your thoughts and your research.


3. Using Databases vs Website

a. Research with databases
     i. Citing databases
b. Research with websites
     i. Validity of websites
     ii Citing websites



4. Find Five Sources of Research Today

a. Complete research on topic selected. Must have at least five relevant sources (The Five People book is one of them).
c. Make sure to complete Note Card and Works Cited for each source. THIS IS DUE TODAY!

5. Home Reading for November Check Off

a. Any student that has not passed off their November Home Reading,  we will continue to check off home reading for November today.
