4. Reading - Narratives (Short Stories)

4. Reading - Narratives (Short Stories)

Today's Tasks:

1. Midterm Exam

a. Take the midterm at the following link:


b. When you finish, quietly work on other assignments.

2. Grade Issues

a. If you have any grade issues, they need to be resolved ASAP. 
b. All grades for the first half of first quarter will be finalized by the end of this week.

3. Assignments/Homework

a. Continue to study Vocabulary and Grammar. There will be a bell quiz at the beginning of next class.
b. Home Reading Books are due next week in the middle of the week. Make sure you complete the book by that time.
c. Come ready to begin the 2nd Half of 1st Quarter. We will begin writing the Personal Narrative Essay...

b. Download the Midterm Study Guide, make a copy,  and rename it for your google drive folder.


c. Discuss as a class some of the issues and concerns with the Midterm.
d. Study the concepts for next class's midterm exam.

3. Jeopardy Game Review for Extra Credit

a. Divide into teams and play Jeopardy (with official Jeopardy rules) to help review for the Midterm Exam.
b. All students must play and participate for their team.


4. Vocabulary Sentences Assignment 

a. Submit your vocabulary sentences for 1-80 (41-80) to the following submission form.

b. If you DO NOT know how to properly submit to this form, please see me or a peer, so you can get them in properly.


5. Grade Repair/Debates
