Today's Tasks

2. Grammar - Verbals

a. If you have not downloaded the following link and made a copy so you can take notes, do that now.

b. We will discuss and take notes on "Participles" today.


3. Vocabulary List #221-230 

a. Continue to study this week's word list 221-230 and know all words for the quarter 201-230.


4. Reading and Summarizing

a. Read pages 74-87 in The Rent Collector
b. Complete the reading and then in your Reading Log do the following two things:
          1. A summary- A paragraph summarizing the key points 
                  and events.
          2. A response - A paragraph responding to the things that
                  occurred in the reading. What do you think?

5. Close Reading Discussion

a. We will discuss the homework assignment to read Churchill's speech and SOAPStone Worksheet.
