2. Grammar
a. Subject-Verb Agreement lesson
b. Subject-Verb Agreement Worksheet #:
c. Finish the worksheet at home. It will be due at the beginning of next class.
3. Vocabulary
a. Write sentences and study the new words 101-110.
b. You need to continue to study all the vocabulary words, but focus especially on the new words for bell quizzes and tests.
4. Reading
a. The Five People You Meet in Heaven Introduction
b. Reading Assignment: Read pages 1-19
c. Write a summary and response in a newly created document titled similar to the following:
A2_AndersonJ_FivePeopleReadingLog
d. Also in the log, answer the following question:
On page 10, there is a comment that "no story sits by itself." After reading today's full reading selection, what do you think about this statement? I expect a full, well-written paragraph.
5. Final Grades for 1st Quarter
a. While you are completing today's assignments, you need to check your grades. If there is anything amiss, you need to see me and get things fixed. Grades are final after today's class.
6. Homework
a. Continue to read your home reading book. It will be due at the beginning of November. If you finish before then, you can and should pass the book off before you start to forget the main parts of the book.
b. Study your vocabulary and grammar daily.
c. Complete the Subject-Verb Agreement Worksheet #1
d. Complete the reading and reading log assignments for The Five People You Meet in Heaven.
e. Complete vocabulary sentences for words 101-110
