Welcome to a new year! I am looking forward to being your Sophomore English Teacher. We have some mountains to climb, and so get ready because today may be the first day, but we are starting right now....

3. Introduction to the paper-less classroom:

The steps:

     1. Log into your google account

     2. Create a folder for this class that follows this format:

                    a. Name the folder with your class period_LastnameFirstInitial_English10 

                    b. Example: If my name was Jason Anderson, it would look like this ...                  
                                                     A2_AndersonJ_English10

     3. Share this folder with me. Here is how you do that:

                    a. First of all, get used to this saying... "If it isn't shared with me, it is not turned in..."

                    b. Click the share button in the top right corner of the document.

                    c. Share to my email: cody.christensen@ironmail.org 

                    d. Make sure you give me "editing" rights to this folder...

4. First Assignment:

The Steps:
     1. Create a new document in google drive and answer the following question in a complete and    
                well-written paragraph:

            What do you think are the benefits and possible problems of trying to go paperless?
     2. Once you have this paragraph completed. Name it in the following manner:

            Example: A2_AndersonJ_PaperlessResponseParagraph
     3. Drop the completed paragraph document into your English 10 Folder.

5. Discuss and resolve concerns:

We will work together to discuss and overcome problems and issues with going paperless.
