Today's Tasks

1. SAGE Testing: A Different Kind of Test... 

a. Today, we are going to practice on the writing portion of the SAGE Test.
b. Go to the following link:

c. Follow the steps to take the 10th Writing portion of the test.
d. Instead of writing a whole essay today, I would like everyone to open a new google doc and name it according to the following example:

e. Next read the writing prompt.
d. Read the two articles associated with the prompt.
f. Write an informational essay outline on the prompt and articles given.
g. Submit this Outline Assignment to the following assignment form.

h. We will discuss this in class.

2. Review as a Class

a. Review as a class the differences and difficulties of this new test.
b. Discuss the differences between information and argument essay writing.

3. Homework

a. Continue to read your Home Reading Book for March. It will be due next week.
