Today's Tasks:

1. Bell Quiz #5 - Vocabulary

a. Go to the following link and take the bell quiz.

2. Grammar - Independent and Dependent Clauses Continued

a. Download the following Independent and Dependent Clauses Practice Sheet #2.

b. Rename it to our assignment standards.
c. Complete the assignment per the instructions.

3. Reading Of Mice and Men 

a. Read as a class today... Of Mice and Men pgs. 91-100.
b. Open your reading log and do an entry for today's reading. Remember to do a summary and response.
c. Discussion Questions: Write a response to the following questions in your reading log today.
          What would we do with Lennie in today's world? What if                 Curley's wife was your sister, wife, mother... would it make 
          a difference?
d. We will turning in the reading log at the conclusion of the book NEXT CLASS PERIOD. Make sure you are up to date on these logs as this will be worth big points.

4. Vocabulary

a. Remember to use the study helps I have created for the vocabulary. It works! I have attached a link here:

b. Study the vocabulary words... take the remaining time in class to study the vocabulary words.

5. Homework/Assignments

a. Complete a reading log entry for Of Mice and Men pgs. 81-90

b. Make sure you are reading your Home Reading Book daily until finished. Test it off as soon as you finish.

c. Continue to study vocabulary and grammar for a bell quiz next class.
